We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.Psalm 78:4, ESV
At Foothills , we not only value the next generation, we believe we have a responsibility to pass on our faith to our children because they are not the church of tomorrow, they are a key part of our church today. Our desire is to help kids know Jesus, grow in Jesus, and go with Jesus while partnering with parents as they disciple their children at home.
What to Expect

Children begin each Sunday worshiping alongside their families. We love seeing kids participate in the life of the church, so they remain in the service until they are dismissed to age-appropriate classes before the sermon.
We currently offer Sunday programming for:
- Preschool (ages 3–5)
- Elementary (Kindergarten–5th Grade)
In every classroom, children are taught biblical truth in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Through Bible teaching, discussion, activities, prayer, and Scripture memory, we seek to help children build a strong foundation of faith centered on the gospel.
Check-In & Registration
For the safety and security of every child, all children must be checked in before the service begins.
Families can save time by pre-registering their children online before their first visit.
When you arrive, our team will help you complete the check-in process and answer any questions you may have. Children will receive a name tag, and parents will receive a matching pick-up tag for check-out following the service.
We encourage families to arrive 10–15 minutes early, especially on their first visit.
Safety & Security
Your child’s safety is one of our highest priorities.

- Secure check-in and check-out procedures
- Background checks for all children’s ministry volunteers
- Trained and screened volunteers in every classroom
- Safe, clean, and welcoming environments
- Adult leadership and accountability in every ministry area
We want parents to have confidence that their children are being cared for well while they participate in worship.
Our Commitment: A Family Ministry Approach
At Foothills , we believe God has given parents the primary responsibility for discipling their children. The church’s role is not to replace parents but to equip, encourage, and support them.
Our commitment is to come alongside families by reinforcing biblical truth, providing resources for spiritual conversations at home, and helping parents lead their children toward a lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.
We want what happens on Sunday to strengthen what is happening throughout the week around the dinner table, during family devotions, and in everyday life.
As a church, we are committed to partnering with parents to raise the next generation to know God’s Word, love His Church, and follow Jesus for a lifetime.
